Privacy Notice

Who we are

Merdene Design Studio, Pretoria, South Africa. Email info@merdene.com, phone 082 052 9220. If you have a question about this notice or about your information, email us.

What we collect

When you use the enquiry form (contact page, services page) we collect your name, email address, phone number and, if you choose to give them, your business name, industry, location, size and age, the type of design you need and your message. The Creative Compassion application form also asks for your business link and why you would benefit from the initiative, including whether your business struggles financially.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote or package information, and — for Creative Compassion — to consider your application. We do not sell your information.

Who helps us handle it

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also provides the spam check (Turnstile) on our forms. Form messages are delivered to our inbox by our email service provider (Brevo) and read in Microsoft 365. We use Google Analytics to see, in aggregate, how the website is used. Some of these providers process information outside South Africa.

How long we keep it

We keep your details only for as long as we need them for the purposes above, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
